• Account Info: Your name, email address, and login credentials. Use of your real name is not mandatory — we encourage usernames or aliases to help protect your identity. 

• Public Profile Content: Recipes, bio, avatar, and any shared content you choose to display publicly. Optional social media links may also be added to your profile at your discretion. 

• Usage Data: App interactions, preferences, and device information to improve your experience. • Optional Info: Avatar choices and other user profiles you like or follow.

🌍 Public Profile Visibility   Your Cookify public profile is visible to other members of the community. You control what you share — whether it’s your favorite dish, a quirky bio, or your chosen avatar.

Note: Real photos are not supported for profile avatars. Avatars are used to maintain a playful and safe environment. However, real photos may be included when uploading recipes or participating in Cookify’s Compete Mode.

We encourage warmth, creativity, and kindness in all shared content. Please avoid posting sensitive personal information in your public profile.

🧁 How We Use Your Info   We use your information to:

• Personalize your cooking journey and unlock joyful features 

• Improve app performance and user experience 

• Communicate updates, tips, and community highlights 

• Ensure safety and compliance with applicable laws

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

🧯 Data Protection   We take reasonable steps to protect your data using industry-standard security measures. However, no system is 100% secure — so we encourage you to use strong passwords and be mindful of what you share.

• Update or delete your public profile content anytime • Contact us to request data access or removal

• Note: We may ask verification questions before processing your request. This should not take more than 48 hours.
